Richa’s Journey to Becoming a Chartered Accountant


Richa’s dream was to become a Chartered Accountant (CA). She began her CA studies before marriage, but life took a turn with her marriage to Aman and the birth of their two children, Shivansh and Rishit.


Despite the challenges of marriage and motherhood, Richa persevered with her studies. She often studied late at night after the children were asleep or during their naps. While her husband and family supported her, the journey was difficult.


Challenges:

Richa faced numerous obstacles, including crying children, mounting household chores, and feelings of being overwhelmed. There were times she considered giving up.


Motivation:

Each time she thought about quitting, she would look at her children and remember her purpose. She wanted to be a role model for them, demonstrating that hard work and determination can achieve anything. Her husband continued to motivate her each day.


Results Day:

(26/12/2024, 11:30am): The long-awaited day arrived. Richa sat with her husband, her heart pounding as he checked her results online.

Seeing “PASS” next to each paper, she cried out in joy, tears streaming down her face. Her confused children, seeing their mother cry, began to cry too.


Sharing the News:

That night, Richa called her father to share the good news: “Papa, mein pass ho gayi, mein CA ban gayi” (Dad, I passed, I’m a CA!). Overwhelmed with joy, her father replied, “THANK YOU BETA. THANK YOU BETA.” Her sisters, aware of her struggles, also called and cried with happiness. Her mother added, “Mere kha tha ho jayega. Bhagwan ne birthday gift diya hai” (I told you it would happen. God has given a birthday gift).


Significance of Richa’s Achievement
Richa’s success wasn’t just about passing the CA exam. It was about proving to herself that she could balance multiple roles: wife, mother, and professional. She felt immense pride and accomplishment, knowing she had set a powerful example for her children.


A 12-Year Journey (2012-2024):

Richa’s journey began in 2012 as a daughter and culminated in 2024 as a daughter, daughter-in-law, wife, and mother – titles she cherishes deeply. Her story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of pursuing one’s dreams, regardless of life’s challenges.
