CA Inter Corporate And Other Law September 2024 paper Review:

  1. Overall paper difficulty: Average to Hard
  2. Question 1A (5 marks): On calls in advance and calls on uniform basis. Fairly straightforward conceptual question.
  3. Question 1B (5 marks): On revision of accounts. Simple question about time limits for revision.
  4. Question 2A (4 marks): About rotation of auditors when there’s a common partner. Straightforward application of rules.
  5. Question 2B (4 marks): Based on FEMA, about acquiring property abroad. Required good conceptual understanding.
  6. Question 3: On deposits – eligibility criteria and time periods. Mix of calculation and concepts.
  7. Question 4: General Clauses Act – questions on commencement of acts and repeal effects. Direct application of provisions.
  8. Question 5: LLP questions on inspection of books, assignment of rights. Required clear understanding of LLP provisions.
