CA STUDY NOTES

1. If you are not prepared, go for next attempt. Don’t ask extension for exams.

Response: Sir, govt is not prepared to handle chaos during exams & students life will be endangered, we are asking extension for that. Many areas will have 144 levied.

2. Students will get extra attempt in Sept,so even if u don’t clear,you will now 3 attempts in Exams.Don’t ask for an extension for exams.

Response: Asking us to wait six months for next attempt,but not ready to extend the date for 20 days. Six months vs 20 days???? Think Sir.

3. There is no problem,students can change exam centre,we reopen the forms. Please don’t ask extension for exams.

Response: Sir,during elections,bus/transport is occupied by karyakartas for their campaign.Most facilities are blocked or over booked. How & where to plan?

4. Students don’t spend time or Twitter/SM. Study. ICAI has said, no extension.

Response: Sir, we are studying,but Council members are updating on SM the forms & details, if we don’t check, we miss the info. If we check we miss study.

5. Met ABCD, they said no extension.

Response: Sir, Did you submit written document or mention our problems in paper & got acknowledged or was it just discussed as a whisper on dining table. Our problems carry weight. Stop being messengers if you can’t put weight on it.

6. ICAI said no extension needed. Pl. concentrate on study & forget SM warriors. It’s not extending.

Response:Sir,we will study, but ICAI extended dates in May 2004, May 2009,May 2014 & also May 2019. So either council was wise then or it’s wiser now in May 2024. Time will tell.

7. ICAI knows what’s it’s doing. The new time schedule will need replan. No time for this.

Response :ICAI was well aware of Election matter,then booking dates with election dates,wasn’t it ineffective & inefficient system. Imagine if a student is unable to reach exam center?

8. ICAI is well prepared. You concentrate on study, we will ensure exams go well.

Response: Sir,we will study,but if even one student loses the opportunity for not reaching the exam center or facing crisis while writing exams,will you allow him grace marks for losing six months?

9. Coaching CA’s doing dharna for students for all undue reasons,but this,complete silent.

Response: CA student does not clear,coaching CA get fat fees.Make noise when admission rates drop in coaching not when students suffer.

10. ICAI Council has full rights to take decision.Election Commission will not intervene. Pl. study &forget extension

Response : Sir,we will study, coming ICAI elections, when u write to election commission for all types of menace in ICAI, pl dont expect it to intervene either.

11. ICAI President has mentioned to allow UK & Canada CA’s to practice in India. We lack 30 lacs CA’s in India in next decade.

Response: Sir, we will study,but imports seems inclined & therefore create roadblocks with poor Indians CA students, so that imports become seamless.

12. Finally, do whatever you want; we are not extending.

Response :Sir, we will study. Don’t extend. Just that, we lose faith in Indian democracy & ICAI autonomy. Members who don’t stand today for us,will never stand in future.We are assured. Indebted for this lesson. Jai Ho!!
