CA Final Result May 2023: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will release the CA Final 2023 result for May Attempt tentatively in the second week of July 2023. Candidates will be able to check their result of CA Final 2023 by logging into the examination portal, using the CA registration number or PIN number. The CA result will carry the details such as marks obtained by the candidate in CA Final 2023 exam, rank, along with qualifying status. The ICAI will release the CA Final May 2023 result on 5th or 6th July 2023 (tentatively) at 9:15 AM. Students can check the Final result on the official website– icai.nic.in by entering their registration and roll number.
Students can also get the ICAI Inter result 2023 through Email and SMS. To get the result through SMS or email, you must register your mobile number and email id.

How to Check CA Final Result?
To check the CA Final May 2023 result:
- Visit the ICAI official website – icai.nic.in/caresult, and you’ll land on the “Exam Results” page.
- Select the option – Final May 2023.
- Enter your Roll number and PIN or your registration number.
- Submit the Image Capcha code text, and you’ll get your result.
- Download the result and take a print of it for future Refrences .
How to Get the CA Final Result 2023 by Email?
To get your CA Final result for May 2023 through Email, visit the website – SSP Portal and register for the Email service. ICAI has opened the email registration link on their website. The registered students will get the CA Final result on the result date.
To register for the email service:
- Go to the ICAI website and log in with your email id and password. If your email id is not verified, then first verify your email id.
- You’ll find a link to “Email Registration”, click on it.
- If you need any help while registering, you can contact them with the helpline numbers. These are: 0120 3054 851, 852, 853, 854 and 835 0120 4953 751,752, 753 and 754.
How to Get CA Final May 2023 Result through SMS?
To get your CA Final result May 2023 through SMS, create a new message on your handset as follows:
CAFNLNEW(Space)XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the six-digit Final roll number), eg. CAFNLNEW 000128. Now, send the message to 57575. This facility is available for all mobile services.
What if You Forgot Your Login Credentials?
In case you forget your credentials to check the CA Final result 2023, then you can follow the options below:
- Admit Card – If you’ve your CA Final admit card, you can check the registration and roll number. These details are available on the admit card.
- Helpline Number– If your admit card is also misplaced, you can contact the ICAI helpline number. You can mention your issue and provide necessary details like your name, your father’s and mother’s names, etc. After verification, they’ll provide you with the login credentials. ICAI helpline numbers – 0120 3054, 851, 852, 853, 854 and 835 or 0120 4953, 751, 752, 753 and 754.
- E-Sahayta – Other than that, you can visit the website of ICAI and log in with your email id. After that, you can search for your query and get the necessary solution.
CA Final Cutoff Marks 2023
The ICAI examination cutoff criteria are aimed to guarantee that applicants have the knowledge required to become professionals. A cutoff limit is not only set for the entire group, but also for individuals. The institution has set an exemption limit for individual papers. It means that a candidate qualifies for a paper if their score exceeds a certain threshold, even if they did not meet the group’s cutoff score.

CA Final Merit List 2023
Along with the result, ICAI will also release the CA Final merit list. The names and ranks of the top 50 CA Final exam rank holders are included on the Merit List. Candidates can check the merit list for CA Final examination by following the steps mentioned below.
- Go to the ICAI Final results official website – icai.org, icai.nic.in or icaiexam.icai.org
- Click on the link for ‘CA Final merit list’ and select ‘Final examination’.
- Enter the roll number/registration number of CA Final exam and enter the captcha code.
- Click on the submit button.
- CA Final Merit list 2023 will be displayed on the screen.
CA Final Toppers List May 2023
ICAI releases the toppers list of meritorious students every year. The merit list comprises of students who secure a minimum of 55% and above marks and up to the maximum of 50th Rank on an all-India basis.
In the CA Final Nov 2022 exams, Harsh Choudhary, with 77.25% (618/800), got the AIR 1. Whereas Shikha Jain and Ramyashree with 77.13% (617/800) collectively got AIR 2. And Mansi Agarwal got AIR 3 with 76.63% (613/800). We congratulate them on their phenomenal result.

Important Details regarding CA Final Result May 2023
Statement of Marks
Statement of Marks will be sent to the students through the post soon after the CA Final May 2023 result declaration. However, in case the student does not receive the same within 4-5 weeks from the date of the result declaration, you may write to dms_examhelpline@icai.in.
CA Final Pass Certificate
A pass certificate will be issued to the students who clear both groups of the CA Final May 2022 Examination, either together or group-wise, within 60 days of the result declaration. However, if the students do not receive the same for any reason within eight weeks from the date of declaration of the ICAI CA Final May 2023 result, the students may write to dms_examhelpline@icai.in.
CA Final Result 2023 – Rank Certificate
Candidates who fulfil the following criteria will be issued a rank certificate that indicates the rank secured by the candidate in CA Final programme:
- Candidate should pass the examination in one sitting.
- He/she should not have received any examination exemptions.
- A minimum of 55 percent in the aggregate is required.
- On an all-India basis, rank certificates are granted up to the 50th position.
- The respective regional offices will receive the rank certificates and distribute them to the candidates.
Grant of Exemption– CA Final Result May 2023
Suppose a candidate has failed in one or more papers but has somehow secured 60% in any paper/papers. In that case, they are eligible for exemption in those papers for the three following or upcoming examination attempts. Exemptions granted in the paper are indicated by “#” against the marks awarded and the result is indicated by “F-Ex” in the statement of marks.
How to Check CA Final Merit List May 2023?
Merit List contains the names of 50 All-India Ranks. To check the merit list:
- First, visit the ICAI Final result page (link mentioned above)
- Now click on “Final Examination” under “CHECK MERIT LIST”.
- Enter your roll number/ registration number and captcha code here.
- Now, click on “Check Result”, and the CA Final merit list for May 2023 exams will appear on your screen.
CA Final Result 2023 – Verification of Answer Sheet
- If students are dissatisfied with their CA Final 2023 results, they can request verification of their answer sheets.
- Candidates can make an application to verify their answer sheets either online or offline.
- The candidates will have to pay Rs. 100 for the verification of each paper.
- ICAI will open the online window for verification of CA Final answer sheets.

Steps to Verify CA Final Answer Sheets Online
- Visit the official website of ICAI – icai.org.
- Login with your user ID and password.
- Select the “verification of answer sheets” option.
- Upload a scanned handwritten application for the verification of CA Final answer books.
- Select the papers that require verification.
- Pay the application fees online.
- Candidates will receive a notification once the verification procedure is finished.
CA Final Result 2023 – Inspecting/obtaining Evaluated Answer Sheet
- Candidates can obtain the CA Final answer sheets and their copies a few days after the result declaration.
- Candidates need to pay an amount of Rs. 500 to obtain each copy of the answer sheet.
- Candidates can obtain/inspect evaluated answer sheets online or offline.
- To get the evaluated answer sheet via offline, the candidate needs to send a handwritten application and a demand draft of Rs.500 for each exam to the following address:

- Visit the official website of ICAI – icai.org.
- Login using the registered user ID and password.
- Click on the “obtain answer booklets” option.
- Upload the handwritten scanned copy of the application.

- You can enroll in the MCS training before/ after passing the CA Final examinations.
